“I love heavy techno. In your face and let’s go to a war kind of techno. If I really feel it completely, I can lose myself on the dancefloor. If I am in a good mood and have lovely people around me, I feel the best. I can let go of everything and I can dance my heart and soul out. It’s not happening all the time but when it happens, the happiness last for weeks.
The excitement of going out is a whole experience for me. Dressing up is a huge part as well. I love to sew my own clothes. Sometimes I think about an outfit for the whole week, even if it’s super simple. The people you get to know is also an important part. The music itself, the excitement of going into amazing buildings and enjoy the architecture together with the music, light, clothes and people.
One time I was at Berghain and I wanted to leave. I already stepped outside to the hallway with a friend and we were looking to each other and thought, the music is fucking amazing right? And we went back and danced for another four hours. It was closing and we didn’t realize. Why is the music off? Shit we did the closing! Stuff like this happens. The night where you have no expectations are the greatest. There is not one particular situation. All the tiny beautiful things that happen make the bigger picture”
