“The first time I went to Berghain I had the feeling I was in a world that didn’t judge me at all. As a person with tattoos and wearing black I feel different when I walk in the street. But there I felt like everyone else. For me this is also the culture of techno: without judgement. Feeling free to dress how you want, to do whatever you want, sexually or not. I like to wear vests without t-shirts to parties. It’s practical and I feel sexy.
The sound of techno makes me feel powerful. In daily life I am quit an anxious person and going to techno parties gives me the chance to release the bad energies I have. It really gives me sanity in my head and brings me calmness. After I feel refreshed.”
