COMPACT-DISORDER

Compact-Disorder’s contemporary and timeless sound takes you on a journey through a landscape: from the sea to the lake, forest, mountains back to the sea again. His sound is melodic, high bmp, thoughtful and compelling.

About the podcast:
“I start quite high in bpm. Normally this is the bpm at which I finish my sets. This indicates that I have taken a different path in terms of pace. I have tried to put down a less limited set when it comes to bpm. I tried to variate with my bmp through the set. In addition, I try to capture different emotions within my set: rolling but sexy.”

To give a peek in the creative process we asked to name three tracks and explain the choice of this track and how it fits the story of the podcast.

Au Revoir - Yenamaste (0.00)
“The ultimate opening track: short intro and it hits you right in the face! The melody line, the bass and kick are, it’s perfect”

Cyborg - Stef Mendesidis (12.00)
“This is head and shoulders the most smoothly rolling track. Been looking for years and couldn't find it. Because of Jelle Tromp I found this track. This record is a special one for me. DVS1 played this track a lot and I had to add it to my collection”

993 – Blawan (18.40)
“This is one of my favorite tracks to bring a break in the set. It remains rolling and often works wonderfully exciting”
