“Techno has given me confidence. It has taught me to be my own person and be confident in who I am and what I am doing. Going to these parties has really allowed me to explore a side to myself that I didn’t know existed. Like me techno is complex and varies as a genre as well as within each individual track. There can be long slow beats or fast hitting ones playing on top of each other, but the mix sounds just so right. I like that there are so many different types of techno music and that there’s always a type of techno for the right moment and mood.
The little moments of deep love and connection I’ve experienced with my friends on the dance floor are the best memories I have. I will hold onto those moments so dearly for the rest of my life. I like that it brings people together and creates friendships and memories for so many people. 
As long as everyone is safe, open minded, accepting and welcoming then everyone is welcome in my book, regardless of background, race, sexuality, sexual orientation or religion”
